I never bothered to track sugar, I do track sodium just out of curiosity. Unless you have health issues, tracking sugar is unnecessary for weight loss. Sodium levels can obviously affect water weight retention, but won’t get in the way of fat loss.
Essentially, calories are all that matter for fat loss. Then calories + macronutrients for body sculpting. The rest are irrelevant.
