Is there a better feeling in fitness than the pump you get from an upper body strength training day? I can’t think of any!
My first month of bulking is complete and I feel great about it thus far. There was some worrying times, being a former fat dude there’s a lot of mental obstacles you have to overcome to keep knowingly put on weight. I’m only up 2lbs, which is about what I was aiming for… so I’m very pleased with the past month. 5 more months to go, hopefully I keep getting bigger and stronger!
…and yes, it’s time for new workout tanks! :)

Thank you! Just dedicate yourself to it and it will happen!

Yesterday marked the end of the first phase of my transformation, I’ve finally started bulking! This pic represents the very beginning and very end of this first phase, my initial fat loss. It took me 3 years to get to where I’m at now and I’m glad I finally did it. My hard work and dedication day-in and day-out has paid off, and this picture proves it. I’m excited for this bulking phase, partly for the new challenge… but mostly for all those tasty extra calories! ;)
I hope my transformation continues to motivate and inspire others along their way, I can honestly say that that has been the single most unsuspecting yet gratifying thing that has come out of all of this.

I’ve lost half an inch from my waist in the past week or so, too! :D

I never bothered to track sugar, I do track sodium just out of curiosity. Unless you have health issues, tracking sugar is unnecessary for weight loss. Sodium levels can obviously affect water weight retention, but won’t get in the way of fat loss.

Essentially, calories are all that matter for fat loss. Then calories + macronutrients for body sculpting. The rest are irrelevant.

Not much, but it’s nice to be losing again!
